Frieda Jones (02.07.1931 – 23.09.2024)

Frieda retired to nearby Cherry Burton from her busy head-teacher job in Berkshire and RSPB Bempton quickly became one of her favourite places watching the birds – of course, the puffins – or, just walking. She would have been very pleased with the bench that now has her name and will help others to enjoy the birds and wildlife as much as she did.
